Association courses and learning pathways

The association has taught courses for many years using readings, instruction, exercises, case feedback, and service ethics. This edition will publish schedules and enrolment information.

Three stages of study

Learners can begin with symbolic literacy, continue into interpretive method, and then study practice and ethics.

  1. I

    Foundational literacy

Understand symbols, traditions, sources, and contexts while building research and conceptual distinctions.

    Outcome: describe before asserting

  2. II

    Interpretive practice

Practise question framing, spread or chart reading, layered inference, feedback, and revision.

Outcome: interpret and explain the basis

  3. III

    Practice and ethics

Learn service scope, consent, privacy, risk recognition, records, and referral.

Outcome: serve and know when to stop
