Orphic Meridian Association

Our work predates this website.

The association began with small-group research, teaching, and peer exchange. Over the past two to three years, we have started bringing our articles, courses, certification, and standards of practice online.

How we handle symbolic material

Articles name their sources, courses separate tradition from personal experience, and readings do not replace medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.

Name the source

Card meanings, terms, and historical material are cited where possible; material that cannot be verified is identified as such.

Give the context

The same symbol can carry different meanings across traditions, questions, and relationships.

State the boundary

Questions involving health, safety, law, or finance should be referred to a qualified professional.

Leave a useful record

Research and teaching are organised into articles, course materials, reading lists, and practical guidance.

The association's continuing work

  • Organise research material

Build subject archives and reading lists, and publish work in Chinese and English.

  • Teach courses

Cover foundations, interpretive practice, case records, and service ethics.

  • Maintain standards of practice

Publish requirements for service descriptions, privacy, records, claims, and referral.

  • Connect members and the public

Support peer exchange and give the public practical information for assessing a service.
